National Conference- on 'Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and Social Justice in Modern India:Policies,
Institutions and Experiences'

The Centre for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies in Mangalore University is
organising a two day national conference on 28th and 29th of October
2010 at the university campus.
Sub themes of the conference include

1) Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the idea of social justice,
2) Indian constitution and social justice,
3) Indian state, policies and practice of social justice,
4) Democracy, identity politics and social justice,
5) Institutions and social justice.

The deadline for abstract submission is 10th September 2010 and full
papers should reach the following address on or before 20th October
2010. Authors of selected papers will be provided II/III tier A/C
train fare, boarding and lodging facilities on the campus. For the
