·         The Commissioner, Scientific & Technical Terminology, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HumanResource Development, Government of India, has recently brought out a trilingual book – (English-Hindi-Telugu) titled Fundamental Glossary of Political Science under the editorial board which includes Prof. AvanishKumar, the Chief Editor, Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Ansari, Assistant Scientific Officer (Political Science) and the Editor,and select faculty members from various universities in India. Prof. P. Eswariah, Former Head, Department ofPolitical Science, Prof. Darla Venkateswara Rao, Department of Telugu & Dr. E. Venkatesu, Associate Professor,Department of Political Science, University of Hyderabad, participated in various workshops contributed to thebook, 25 February, 2019.

This year(2018-19), The University of Hyderabad as conferred to Distinguished Alumnus Awards to two of our distinguishedAlumni a) Dr. Ch.
