ఆచార్య భీమయ్యగారి ఆంగ్ల కవిత్వం ఆవిష్కరణ
భారతీయ మహిళలు, దళితుల వివక్ష, జీవన వాస్తవికతలకు కళాత్మక ప్రతిఫలనమే ఆచార్య జె.భీమయ్య రచించిన కవితా సంపుటి ‘టాయిలింగ్ మదర్ అండ్ అదర్ పోయెమ్స్’ అని వక్తలు ప్రశంసించారు. గురువారం (6.8.2026) సాయంత్రం హెచ్ సియు, తులనాత్మక అధ్యయన కేంద్రంలో మానవీయ శాస్త్రాల విభాగం డీన్ ఆచార్య సునీతా మిశ్రా అధ్యక్షతన ఆచార్య జె.భీమయ్య ఆంగ్ల కవితా సంపుటి ‘‘టాయిలింగ్ మదర్ అండ్ అదర్ పోయెమ్స్’’ పుస్తకావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర విశ్వవిద్యాలయం పూర్వ వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ఆచార్య కొలకలూరి ఇనాక్ ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొని పుస్తకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించి, భీమయ్యగారి కవిత్వంలో ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా, భారతీయ సమాజంలో సమకాలీన సమస్యలను ఎంతో సున్నితంగా శక్తివంతంగా, వాస్తవిక దృక్పథంతో అభివ్యక్తీకరించారని పేర్కొన్నారు. హెచ్ సి యు వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ (ఇన్చార్జి) ఆచార్య జె.అనూరాధ మాట్లాడుతూ కళాకారులు సమాజంలోని అనేక సమస్యలను కళాత్మకంగా ఆవిష్కరించి ప్రజలను చైతన్యవంతం చేస్తారని, గొల్ల కలాపం వంటి నృత్య రూపకాలు కుల పీడనను కూడా ప్రదర్శించాయని, అలాగే భీమయ్య గారి కవిత్వంలో కూడా శక్తివంతమైన భావాలు ఆవిష్కృతమయ్యాయని అన్నారు. సమ్మక్క సారక్క ట్రైబల్ సెంట్రల్ యూనివర్సిటీ, ములుగు వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ఆచార్య వై.ఎల్.శ్రీనివాస్ మాట్లాడుతూ భీమయ్య గారి కవిత్వం స్వీయ అనుభవాలతో చెప్పినట్లు అనిపిస్తున్నా, కొన్ని ఆత్మకథాత్మక వర్ణనలుగా వ్యక్తీకరించినా, భారతీయ మహిళల జీవితాన్ని, కుల, వర్గ, ప్రాంతీయ దృక్పథాలను సాధారణీకరించడంలో ఎంతో విశిష్టంగా కనిపిస్తుందని అన్నారు. మేధావులుగా చెప్పుకుంటున్న వారు కూడా కొన్ని బలహీనతలకు అతీతం కాదనే విషయాన్ని భీమయ్య గారు ఎంతో శక్తివంతంగా కవిత్వీకరించి వాస్తవికతకు అద్దం పట్టారన్నారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ మైసూర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ ఏ.ఎస్. దాసన్, డాక్టర్ బాబాసాహెబ్ అంబేద్కర్ ఔరంగాబాద్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కాశీనాథ్ రణవీర్, జవహర్లాల్ నెహ్రూ యూనివర్సిటీ ఢిల్లీ ప్రొఫెసర్ అజిత్ కన్నా, హెచ్ సియు తలనాత్మక కేంద్రం అధ్యక్షులు ఆచార్య వంశీకృష్ణారెడ్డి, తెలుగు శాఖ ప్రొఫెసర్ దార్ల వెంకటేశ్వరరావు మాట్లాడారు. పుస్తక రచయిత, కవి ఆచార్య జె. భీమయ్య తన కవిత్వ నేపథ్యాన్ని సోదాహరణంగా వివరించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విద్యార్థులు పరిశోధకులు అధ్యాపకులు అధిక సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
