Telangana Utsav Committee invites entries from college and university students for an essay competition to commemorate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17

Students from Intermediate or Degree College can write an essay on the topic “Separate Telangana: Role of Youth" or "Staanikula Udyoga Hakku - Telangana Udyamam" in less than 2000 words. University students and research scholars can write an essay on the topic " Separate Telangana: Struggle and Elections" or "Pratyeka Telangana Udyamam: Anubhavaalu- Gunapaataalu" in less than 4000 words.

Students should send their essays in English or Telugu with their full name, age, address, telephone number and college name before the last date.

Select essays will be considered for publication in a book "Separate State - Voices of Telangana Youth" or for dissemination through website. The best essays will be awarded with certificates and cash prizes during 59th Telangana Liberation celebrations at Hyderabad in September 2007.

The last date for submission of entries is September 10, 2007
